User Data Deletion

At Mehwar, a product of شركة شطرنج التجارية (Chess Trading Company), we respect your right to control your personal data. You may request deletion of your data at any time, whether you are an individual user or acting on behalf of your organization.

When we process a deletion request, we remove the following data associated with your account:

• Your user profile, name, email, and phone number.
• Authentication credentials and session history.
• Call recordings, meeting recordings, and transcripts you own or created.
• AI-generated summaries, action items, and meeting notes.
• Memory and context data the platform has stored about you.
• Messages and conversation history from connected channels.
• Usage analytics and activity logs tied to your identity.

If you are the sole administrator of an organization, deleting your account will also remove the organization and all associated data. We recommend transferring ownership before requesting deletion.

You can request data deletion through any of these methods:

• Email: send a request to contact@mehwar.ai from the email address associated with your account. Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.
• In the Mehwar app: Settings, Delete my account

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request to protect against unauthorized deletion.

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete. In some cases, it may take additional time to remove data from backups and redundant storage systems, but this data will not be used for any purpose during that period.

Even after deletion, we may retain a limited set of data where required by law or legitimate business need:

• Records required for tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Transaction and billing records for the legally required retention period.
• Aggregated, anonymized data that can no longer be linked to you.
• Data necessary to resolve an ongoing dispute or enforce our Terms of Service.

When you request deletion, we also instruct our service providers to delete your personal data from their systems where applicable. Some third-party services may retain data according to their own policies. Refer to our Privacy Policy for information about the service providers we work with.
